Tailgate Assignments

The following are the tailgate volunteers for set up and take down tasks. The set-up volunteers must be on site at the courtyard of the Georgia Center for Continuing Education at 7 am.

Refer to the tailgating info list for details about game days. Remember: Even if this is not your week to set-up/take-down, we still need food!

Upcoming Home Games

Cheers will be providing a cookie cake and we look forward to all your great food again. The kids will be there between 8:45 and 9:00 and the Dawg Walk will be at 10:50.

Set up this week is the Lech’s, Bakalar’s and the Young’s. Please be there at 7:00. For take down this week all we have is the Morris’, so we need some help here!! If we all will help it will go quickly!!!

11/19 UGA vs Kentucky

09/10 UGA vs South Carolina

**Buttons and t-shirts will be handed out at the tailgate. If you were not at the meeting we ordered 2 buttons for your cheerleader and they are $10.00 for the two. Set up people need to be there at 7am. Food should arrive by 12:30 or 1:00. The cheerleaders will arrive at the tailgate around 1:30. Take down will be right after the tailgate ends since it is a late game. The Dawg Walk this Saturday will be 3:00. **

The cheerleaders will arrive between 8:30 and 8:45 and the Dawg Walk is at 10:30. Please consider supporting Paul Beck and the cheerleaders’ fundraising efforts for the UGA Miracle and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta this Saturday.

11/05 UGA vs New Mexico State – Homecoming

Like the last 3 years, we have invited the Alumni cheerleaders to join us at the tailgate for a catered gathering. The food comes from Chick-Fil-A.

Registration for the Alumni will begin at 8:30am inside the Georgia Center. The Cheerleaders will join us at 9:00am at the tailgate. Alumni meeting will be at 9:45am. Cheerleaders will leave for the DawgWalk at 10:15. Kickoff at 12:30 pm.

Support UGA Miracle and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta

UGA Boosters: Please consider supporting Paul Beck in this worthwhile endeavor and help the cheerleaders raise the most money for UGA Miracle!

Dear UGA CHEERS,

I was asked to participate in a “date auction” put on by UGA Miracle, an organization that raises money for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. As a participant, I will be representing the cheerleading team (one person from every athletic team is chosen to be auctioned off). Although it’s called an auction, I am in charge of raising the money that will be used to “bid” on me. I am asking for your help because this is one of the first times that a cheerleader has been asked to participate and I think that we could do an amazing job of raising more money than any other team! The auction takes place next Thursday, October 6th. If you wish to donate and are coming to the game this weekend, I will collect cash donations or checks written to “UGA Miracle.” If you can not make it to the game this weekend but still want to donate, please send a check or cash to your child to pass on to me. If you’d like to send your donation directly to me, I’ll put my address at the end of this email. Last year, we raised almost 200 dollars so it’d be great to match that amount or even beat it! Thanks so much for helping support the cheerleading team, myself, and most of all, UGA Miracle and the Children.
